The SCFC Women in Aviation has invited Charlene Platon to speak about what she has learned about developing the confidence, self-awareness, and courage to lead with authenticity, especially in complex, high-pressure environments. Charlene works as a nurse practitioner in healthcare where it is very challenging to speak up; although it is a female-dominated profession, males are disproportionately represented in healthcare leadership. She is very passionate about this topic because it’s so prevalent in the profession.
She is passionate about helping healthcare professionals . Through her work, Charlene combines practical leadership strategies with emotional intelligence to empower others to navigate difficult conversations, speak up with confidence, and create meaningful change in healthcare.
