While flying, we are aware of and on the lookout for other traffic. All around San Carlos we have airplanes arriving and departing. Scanning for traffic is just part of our normal pilot duties. But have you thought about what else might be around us besides airplanes? Yes, we are not alone out there. Besides airplanes, people are falling from the skies, Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) are buzzing around us, and some locations have aerobatic activities.
In this seminar, we will highlight some of these activities, where thy occur and some ways to keep safe while flying.
