The SF Bay Area is filled with gorgeous mountains, ocean vistas, landmarks and more. Navigating the Bay Area VFR can’t be done without knowledge of the relevant landmarks and hotspots. As VFR Pilots it’s important that we recognize, understand, and use these noticeable areas to our advantage while navigating the Bay Area’s complex airspace.
San Carlos Flight Center invites commercial pilot and AGI Dave Kramer as he reviews Bay Area Landmarks. In this seminar, Dave will identify the different points of interests that can easily be visually located from the air or found on a sectional chart. Competent pilots can use these points to plan their flights around complex airspace, and feel confident that you’ll never miss a visual waypoint again. If you are a student, or private pilot, this is the seminar for you. Learn more about how you can perfect your navigation skills by utilizing these landmarks right in our backyard. |
