Shiwoo grew up in the Bay Area, and got into aviation because of friends who were already in the industry. They convinced him to give it a try, and it took him one discovery flight to know this is what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. Shiwoo then completed his flight training in Livermore.

Shiwoo strives to maintain the safest environment possible while making flight training as educational and as fun as possible. Outside of flight training, Shiwoo enjoys going on walks, hikes, snowboarding, and surfing.
