Sasha Markova | Media Specialist

For as long as she can remember, Sasha has been fascinated with anything related to aviation. Her journey started out with weekly trips to Bayfront Park, where she would take hundreds of photos of airliners on short final at SFO – posting many of them to Instagram. Later she would go on to volunteer at a local aviation museum, where she would amass over 1,500 hours spreading her passion for aviation with people of all ages. In the summer of 2024, she got the opportunity to earn her private pilot license through the Upwind Summer Scholarship program. Not wanting to part with the incredible community here at the flight center, Sasha decided to join the media team.

Aside from flying, Sasha enjoys photography and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys a multitude of sports, including road cycling, running, and rock climbing.
