Born and raised in the Bay Area, JR enjoyed traveling and aviation from a young age as both his parents are flight attendants. He earned a degree in Economics and Geography from UCLA in 2019 and began flight training soon after graduating. While working in public health during the pandemic, he earned his Private, Instrument, and Commercial Pilot Certificates through the Flight Center. JR really enjoyed his experience learning how to fly at SCFC and hopes to continue that legacy with new aspiring aviators. In his free time, JR enjoys reading, exploring new countries, and performing at local concerts with his friends.
