Herb has been interested in flying since a young age but didn’t have the opportunity to pursue that interest until 2010 when he began flying. After receiving his Private Pilot Certificate, he began finding ways to help others learn about aviation. Herb became an FAA ground Instructor and started helping other students with the aeronautical knowledge necessary for their Private Pilot Certificates. In 2014, Herb began teaching the Private Pilot Ground School at San Carlos Flight Center and has loved every minute of it. He really enjoys spending time with students and helping them learn about aviation. Herb has always been interested in becoming a CFI and realized that goal in 2018. He enjoys bringing the same passion, patience and enthusiasm from teaching ground school to students that want to learn to fly.
