After obtaining his Bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Cruz and working as a paramedic and scuba instructor, Dave decided to follow his love of aviation and began flight training at San Carlos Flight Center. After reaching his Commercial certificate, Dave’s experience as a teacher and passion for aviation led him to become a flight instructor. Dave is recognized for his teaching abilities and enjoys making sure that his students are well-prepared for their aviation adventures.

Beyond aviation, Dave enjoys snowboarding, camping, hunting, and fishing. His diverse interests and expertise enhance his approach as a flight instructor, providing students with a well-rounded and comprehensive education.
