Darin Bernstein | Staff Instructor

From a young age, Darin knew that he wanted to fly. Growing up in the Bay Area, he was always enamored by the beautiful scenery and the Blue Angels zipping over the bay during Fleet Week. After a 15-year career helping companies reduce their energy usage, Darin began his journey in aviation with a demo flight right here at San Carlos Flight Center and never looked back. He completed all of his training at San Carlos Flight Center and is now a full-time Flight Instructor ready to help future pilots realize their dreams in aviation. 

 

Outside of aviation, Darin enjoys being active outdoors, traveling, and learning new skills. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and their cat, Catsby.
