Danica grew up in the Bay Area and pursued her bachelor’s degree at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. She studied Travel Industry Management through the Shidler College of Business, where her coursework focused on hospitality, transportation, and tourism.

She began her flight training in Honolulu before returning to the Bay Area to pursue aviation full-time. Danica is currently a private pilot student at SCFC and plans to fly commercially in the future.

Outside of aviation, she races Spec Miatas with the San Francisco Region Sports Car Club of America, plays electric bass guitar, and enjoys bouldering at local climbing gyms.
