Kim Gabrelcik is the Chief Pilot for Alaska Airlines’ San Francisco base, where she leads a team of pilots operating out of one of the airline’s most dynamic West Coast hubs. With a degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a distinguished career spanning multiple flight and leadership roles, Kim has built a reputation for operational excellence, mentorship, and commitment to aviation safety. Throughout her career, she has served as a captain, line-check pilot, and flight operations leader, helping develop the next generation of airline pilots while supporting Alaska’s pilot workforce and high standards of performance. Kim is also deeply dedicated to community outreach and advancing aviation career pathways, particularly for women and young people interested in aerospace. Her leadership, passion for empowering future aviators, and dedication to building an inclusive flight deck make her an inspiring voice within the industry and a role model for aspiring pilots everywhere.
