Feb 8th is the Full Moon and this month we will fly to Sacramento International for a “Pizza Party” at Sacramento International Jet Center.
Opening as the Sacramento Metropolitan Airport in 1967, SMF was the first public use airport west of the Mississippi built completely from the ground up. Initially served by five airlines and deemed a risky investment, the airport quickly proved skeptics wrong surpassing one million passengers during its first year of operation.
Each month, several FOG pilots take part in the Full Moon Flyers dinner flight. Some are out of night currency, so they fly alone or bring along a CFI. Some are night current and bring along a friend. Some are student pilots with their CFI, fulfilling the night cross country requirement in a more fun and social way. So come along and join us for a social group dinner, followed by a beautifully moonlit flight back home.

FOG is for EVERYONE. You do not have to be a San Carlos Flight Center member to attend.
