A Northern California native of 20+ years, Adam got his first taste of flying at 12. Having never forgotten about that first flight he eventually obtained his Private pilot license in 2008 while attending college at Sacramento State. In 2009 he decided to turn his Private Pilots license into a career. Adam began instructing at SCFC in 2012. During his more than 4 years of teaching at SCFC he specialized in teaching beginner pilots, tailwheel transitions, and mountain flying, including leading the Colorado FOG trips 3 years in a row and as a CFI with the Finer Points of Flying mountain courses. Additionally, he flew Cessna Caravans for the Burning man shuttle from 2011 to 2013. After more than 4 years of teaching he decided he needed to continue his training and took a job with the airlines. He is type rated in the Embraer 135 and the 175.  The COVID pandemic put his jet job on hold but he has returned to his original passion of teaching the art of flying.
