Aug 10 (Sat) Chico Air Museum & Lunch at The Foodie Cafe

The Chico Air Museum is a nonprofit aviation museum located at the Chico Municipal Airport in Chico, California.

The museum has a number of aircraft, artifacts and exhibits on display in a WW II era hangar that was originally part of the Chico Army Airfield (and once owned and operated by Aero Union).

There is also an outside static display area, a large collection of scale models, and an extensive aviation research library. The museum's hangar is located next to the Chico Air Attack Base (CAAB). During fire season, visitors can watch air operations of multiple types of air tankers that use this base to reload and re-fuel.

We will meet at the museum at 10 am and then at 12 noon head over to the Foodie Cafe featuring delicious, creative and a huge variety of fun, gourmet and down home food. The decor is all recycled stuff making this a one of a kind place to eat.

Lastly, check out Northgate Aviation FBO with its Star Wars decor.  Truly one of a kind.

FOG is for EVERYONE.  You do not have to be a San Carlos Flight Center member to attend.
