DESCRIPTION:SCFC member Didier Serra recently acquired a Cessna 172 G1000. Great news! Now what? \nThe plane\, N268CS\, needed to be flown back from Florida to San Carlos. Didier\, who is a student pilot\, enlisted his CFI\, Graeson Gamoras\, to help ferry his plane back from Florida. This was going to be an amazing experience that needed extensive planning to manage the logistics. On top of just details of cross-country planning there was an added element of validating that this plane was airworthy. \nIn this seminar\, Graeson and Didier will talk about their experience of navigating through Florida weather and how they evaluated the routes to safely arrive at their first stop. What critical checks they completed and documentation that they validated to make sure the plane they were picking up was airworthy. How they spent the days leading up to picking up the plane preparing for the trip.
