November 18 (Wed) 7:00pm Adventures in Crosswinds

Event Date:
Wednesday, November 18, 2015 - 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Every Bay Area pilot has experienced varying degrees of the ever-present Bay breezes in the form of crosswinds. Sometimes mild, sometimes wild, but always exciting. Do you find your anxiety level increasing along with the degree of crosswind component? Don’t you wish you could learn some skills and techniques to help you confidently tackle those crosswind landings?

Welcome to Adventures in Crosswinds! In this engaging and informative seminar, presenter Dan Dyer shares the insights he has learned after 3,000+ hours of flight instruction and his private 1-on-1 training sessions using San Carlos Flight Center's Xwind 200 simulator. Learn the right and wrong ways to do crosswind approach, flare, and touchdown. A must for every Bay Area Pilot!

Dan Dyer is Chief Pilot of San Carlos Flight Center and has been instructing for 11 years, first in helicopter and now in airplanes. He has almost 4,000 flight hours and is the Bay Area's local expert in crosswind landing instruction.
