January 27 (Sat) 12:00pm Compare and Contrast: Embraer RJ 175 & Cessna 172 Skyhawk

Event Date:
Saturday, January 27, 2018 - 12:00pm

In this presentation First Officer Randall Walliser will talk about the many differences of a transport category aircraft as compared to a light general aviation aircraft along with the similarities between the two aircraft categories. He will also focus on the differences in operating philosophy between general aviation and a part 121 airline. Randall will discuss what general aviation pilots can take away from the highly structured environment of an airline to enhance situational awareness, use of resources, and safety in their own flying.

Randall Walliser is a first officer at SkyWest Airlines flying the Embraer ERJ-175. Prior to joining the airlines, Randall was a CFI here at San Carlos Flight Center.  He is an excellent pilot and instructor and the staff and students are excited to see him return for this presentation.
